Status Indicator
To indicate the functioning of vaQgrip VQ20 and communication between vaQgrip VQ20 and the robot.
Compressed Air Inlet
A single compressed air inlet powers the integrated vacuum generator and dual vacuum channels, eliminating the need for external ejectors or multiple lines.


I/O Connector
Connect directly to the Tool I/O Port of Universal Robots (eSeries & CB3). For other robots, connect directly to the controllers and communicate over Modbus RTU.
Robot Mounting Face
Mount the suitable Robot Coupler to interface vaQgrip VQ20 with the robot.
Robot compatibility
vaQgrip VQ20 is designed to work seamlessly with all Universal Robots models and can be connected directly using standard pneumatic and I/O interfaces for true plug and play integration.
For other robot brands, gantries, or custom-built systems, VQ20 supports the industry-standard Modbus RTU (RS-485) communication protocol. This design choice ensures flexibility across a wide range of automation setups, from collaborative to industrial robots.
By using any globally available RS-485 converter, users can interface VQ20 with alternative communication protocols such as TCP/IP, IO-Link, or EtherNet/IP, enabling full control of the vacuum system through their preferred robot or PLC environment.
